If playing Djokovic, I would also like to face him on grass where Djokovic doesn't have such a big (psychological) advantage like on clay or on hardcourt where he was very successful early in the season already.

yup..i agree. Djokovic is certainly a tough opponent, but Kiwi's gaining more and more confidence and plays better the more matches he plays.....soooo who knows what might be possible against Djokovic....

Re: The KIWI grows on Wimbledon's grass thread (Ver 2.0)
maybe he will lose a set for the first time in this tournament against Djokovic lol... Kiwi is playing so well and he didn`t even start to fight like he did in Australia 2006 yet.... maybe the match against Djokovic is going to be tough but I think he can beat him.

Re: The KIWI grows on Wimbledon's grass thread (Ver 2.0)
Djokovic had some problems with Delics agressive play, and if Kiefer serves like he did today, who knows what'll happen. A couple of unforced errors from Novak wouldn't hurt either.

Great to see Kiefer back and winning, the first round against Volandri was an excellent way to get into form and find his winning ways. Keep it up against Djokovic!

Kiwi
He has a chance against Novak, but even though he loses, he should be happy with this results already, after just few weeks coming back.
Good luck Kiwi

Chris Seahorse was at the match and he thought it was a pretty good match (concentrated, consistent, well served, well returned, good volleys) by Kiwi and an average one for Santoro (could play better, could play worse).
This makes some hope! But it's a roll of dice if he can bring this form against Djokovic again

That sounds great. Kiefer is not the greatest baseline player, but when he's on, then at least his shots are consistent.

Re: The KIWI grows on Wimbledon's grass thread (Ver 2.0)
German TV showing Formula 1 most of the afternoon tomorrow so I hope for a good online stream from BBC ore ESPN
Schedule for tomorrow
Court 1
Ai Sugiyama vs Maria Sharapova
David Nalbandian vs Marcos Baghdatis
Nicolas Kiefer vs Novak Djokovic
so it will not be shown on German DSF since they will show Formula 1 from 5 pm on....

Yeah, it's likely that DSF won't show any of it. For me it's no problem, because I have Pay TV.
Today we had plenty of those BBC feeds on http://www.myp2p.eu/Other.htm so I expect the same for tomorrow. Sometimes you have to try several times though, before those streams start working.

Re: The KIWI grows on Wimbledon's grass thread (Ver 2.0)
And for me it's the problem that I promised friends to come to a Grillparty early evening/late afternoon, so it's unfortunate he plays the later match because I can't follow it completely or not at all.
But okay, as soon as he wins and he is comfortable with the scheduling
