Exactly. And when I first read about his opponent, I was quite happy, because it's a chance to "win" a seed, but then I realized who could be his next opponents.
R2: either Karlovic or Santoro
His H2H against Volandri is 1:2 (lost at the Aussie Open 2004 and Rome 2004), but at least he won the last match which took place at last year's WTC. Same goes for the last match against Santoro (Kiefer defeated him in Miami 2006) with a H2H which the frenchman is leading 6:1(!). So I might cheer for Karlovic to defeat the magician.
Of course, playing against the "ace machine", might lead to a frustrating 7:6, 6:7, 7:6, 6:7, 4:6.
Anyways, I hope that he can at least win that one match against Volandri.
