Best Albums of 2007 so far?
I want to listen to some albums from this year, but I have no idea where to start. I'm open to practically anything, so fire away

Favourite Worst Nightmare - Arctic Monkeys
And not from 2007, but I strongly advise Aquarium by Aqua

 Adam at your Aqua obsession
I don't have a favourite from 2007 as yet, but from 2006 definitely Muse's Black Holes and Revelations

If you haven't got Stadium Arcadium yet by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, you have to get that.

Wilco - sky blue sky - too much Wilco-like, didnt find anything interesting
Of Montreal - hissing fauna, are you the destroyer - h avent got this one yet, although I've wanted to
Panda Bear - person pitch - very overhyped, I dont think it's better than the average Animal Collective album
the klaxons - myth of the near future - yeah, should have been in my top 10 but somehow forgot to put it. I'm listening to it right now
electrelane - no shouts, no calls - surprisingly I heard about this one only yesterday
the shins - wincing the night away - never got into The Shins
Clinic - visitations - This is a good band but too afraid of trying anything else, same riffs all the time
LCD soundsystem - sound of silver
the brakes - the beatific visions - I'll download this one now
Blonde Redhead - 23

Re: Best Albums of 2007 so far?
I can see what you mean. I liked these albums but it's not like I was that excited by most of them actually.
About Wilco, I fancy the new guitarist from the kicking television live but nothing will level Yankee hotel foxtrot imo. Agree for Panda Bear. Have a close ear at "the past is a grotesque" from Of Montreal, awesome song.
I was thinking of you lately as Smashing pumpkins is to play a festival nearby I live. And sonic Youth will also do a re-read of his daydream nation Lp there. Can't wait

Re: Best Albums of 2007 so far?
here is a link http://www.laroutedurock.com/
It takes place in St Malo in the north-west of France. You probably know better than me whether this is SM's first date, but I know that's the only one in France.
About DN, I guess so but haven't got much info yet.
