Not good at all.

Out of all the possible opponents, I feared Federer and Berdych the most.
He plays against Berdych, someone who loves to play against Haas and Kiefer (remember those painful 5 set losses)

Had he played against a weaker opponent, then there would have been a slight chance for a win (for example Mayer).

Oh well, I am just happy that he'll have his comeback match. And if he gets destroyed, so be it.

Ironically, Berdych was Kiefers last opponent before the one year of playing no matches. He retired after losing the first set 1:6. His last real match was, of course, one round before against Gicquel.

Well ofcourse i hope for the best, I'm not expecting much considering how long Kiwi's been out. I just wanna see pictures from his first match back

Interesting. Guess he'll take all the match practice he can get. Hopefully he can at least score a win in the doubles competition.

Since he faces Berdych, I kinda expected him to play on Tuesday. Anways, I am glad that they're thinking about the DSF coverage, and that we'll able to see the match. Best wishes to Kiwi.

Of course not a good draw because Berdych isn't easy. I hardly can expect him to win that. I would love to, but not likely going to happen, is it?

Kiwi lost to Berdych 4-6 6(3)-7.
I must say, I have never been so excited for a loss! He played (by watching the numbers) amazing and stayed in the match! I'm so happy for him!

Just watched my recording of the match. Geez, I was disappointed. But that only shows how well he played. He did much better than I expected. More about it later.
