Re: AFL Round 11 (Queen BD Weekend)
Eagles are always a great fade in Victoria
But this Friday the Bombers would have to play out of their skin to win this one IMO. Also the Eagles Friday night record in Victoria is actually pretty decent over the past 5 seasons.

The Eagles don't play too badly in Melbourne, but they hardly have any games there these days.
It's crappy road trips like Geelong and Launceston where they often don't turn up to play.

Do you blame me?
Inexperience. Moreso the backline. Each time the ball goes in our defence, I shake because of the inexperience.
We're going to suffer heavy losses in the next 12 weeks as we have a young team who will basically fade. Travelling for 5 weeks in a row in the pre-season didn't help things either.

I think the fate of the Lions was sealed when Voss retired.
If they had a half-decent squad, Vossy would have stayed on for another year, but his retirement showed what he thought of Brisbane's chances of winning a flag.
Brown is a bit like Kobe Bryant - 3 titles at such a young age, and may never win another one again, unless he changes teams.

Re: AFL Round 11 (Queen BD Weekend)
West Coast +15 1/2 $40 @ 2.15
Freemantle -30 1/2 $30 @ 1.90
Might have one more on the monday game but it looks like a hard round to me apart from those 2.

Re: AFL Round 11 (Queen BD Weekend)
Leaning on the Eagles but taking the total instead, looking for an absolute shootout @ Dome,Lloyd/Lucas to lead the way and Lynch n Co to do the rest!!
50 units on Essendon Bombers vs West Coast Eagles Over 195.5pts total - Bombers should come out all guns blazing but i expect the Eagles to wheel em in at the end, actually remember this game a couple yrs ago when Hirdy kicked the winner and gave the lad a hug on the bondary line,it was a Special Saturday moment which i remember as yest, thanks for the winner Hirdy while Lloyd kicked a bag full!!
Good luck!!!
