1984, Kalamazoo, (Mich.) Boys 16 Junior, 2nd round
T.J. Middleton def. Sampras 6-7 6-4 18-16... that match lasted 5 hours 23 minutes!!!
Middleton was 16-year-old at that time, 3 years older than Pete.

It's a pity that we don't know all Sampras' sets with set points saved & wasted. I think it could be interesting to do some stats about it Sampras isn't the best in stats "match points saved" but maybe he is the best in "set points saved (including mp's)"
