i feel like anything's possible with them. maybe it will be some random day indeed they both refuse to talk about it, so good for them. One blog says it's next weekend, but it also quoted wikipedia, so it's impossible to believe that I'm sure we'll hear about it after the fact, hopefully not before

Andy’s Getting Hitched

There’s big celebrity news to report (you know it’s big when the holy Hollywood gossip trinity of People, US and the New York Post’s “Page Six” are reporting it): Andy Roddick and his Sports Illustrated swimsuit model fiancé Brooklyn Decker are getting married this weekend in Austin, Texas, Roddick’s home base. Like the Roger Federer-Mirka Vavrinec nuptials of last week, the wedding is going to be a small affair, just family and friends and probably some members of the paparazzi. After the ceremony, the bride and groom will hold a press conference, leave the reporters in stitches, and then get post-event massages by ATP trainers.

I hope there are no paps and they just release one or two pictures to appease the tabloids. such a shame that some "friend" blabbed to people and stuff. they both seemed so intent on keeping it private. hopefully it being in texas will help

Roddick-Decker wedding details unveiled

I had been begging Andy Roddick’s people for any details about his Saturday wedding to Brooklyn Decker, to no avail.

Then intrepid American-Statesman fashion reporter Marques Harper mines all these details in one quick conversation at a media event I stupidly skipped.

I hate him.

Wait, no, he lent me the scoop! Hurray for Marques!

Brooklyn will wear a Vera Wang dress. Vera Wang offered to make the dress. She is a good friend of Andy’s. They know each other because Vera and Andy have stayed in neighboring properties in Hawaii for some time. Andy usually stops in Hawaii every year on his way to play in the Australian Open.

Andy had offers from several designers including Austin-born Tom Ford for his wedding outfit. However, he is keeping the look a secret until the wedding day.

There will be 30 people, mostly family and a few friends, at the wedding.

The reception will be at Stubb’s from 6 or 7 p.m. until 2 a.m.

They have selected an unnamed band or DJ to provide music.

Andy doesn’t want to provide photos to the media. He did get offers from (probably) People and US Weekly and those types of mags. However, he said he wants to keep the event private even though the money paid for a photo could go to his charity. Andy just wants to have a special moment.

Andy and Brooklyn have really never been to a wedding or reception so they planned something very simple.

Elton John will play at the wedding, which will likely be outside.

There isn’t a backup plan if there’s bad weather on Saturday.

Elton John Expected at Andy Roddick's Wedding

Sir Elton John will perform at tennis star Andy Roddick’s wedding to Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker this weekend, multiple sources tell PEOPLE.

"He's supposed to perform and everyone's really excited," says a source close to the music giant, who knows the tennis champ and groom-to-be, 26, through their mutual involvement in charity work.

Two years ago, John, 62, performed at the Andy Roddick Foundation's Charity Gala. Last year, Roddick led "Team Elton John" in the Advanta WTT Smash Hits charity event, which raised more than $400,000 for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Roddick's wedding to Decker, 21, will also feature several other celebrity guests, including tennis stars Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi, as well as Marty Fish and James Blake. The pals will attend the small ceremony, to be held at Roddick's Austin, Texas home, and wedding banquet at a nearby country club.

The bride will also have a fashion contingent at the nuptials, with fellow swimsuit model Julie Henderson in attendance.

I just came here to post the people article and was going to say I think some of you will like a certain typo!

looks like there'll be no photos released at all. I didn't think they would to be honest after trying so hard to keep it private but since I am nosy little thing I was hoping to just see a photo of Brooklyn in her dress. I love weddings.
