Rui MacHado "the Scottish Number 1" Cheering Thread

Yes, I know Machado is not Scottish, and it's a play on his last name.

He had a good season this year and should be able to make the top 100 in 2010 barring injury, which impacted on his progress towards the end of 2009.

He won a couple of challengers in Meknes and Athens, plus he made the 2nd round of Roland Garros and lost to Crazy Koellerer in the first round of the US Open.

Machado is on the list for the AO qualies, hope he can play it and make the MD.

The Scotsman plays the racist Brydan Klein tomorrow, hope he can take out the piece of rubbish.

Klein was getting very pissed off as well.

After Del Bonis and Kirche now it's time to beat Pashanski.

PS: Not so funny the title thread. But it should be MacHado, as it shows in the ATP LiveScores. ;)

Ad Wim, stop whining already.

We have the Machado posting here and yes he needs to beat big bad Pashanski.

#15 ·
Rui made the main draw taking out the big crazy Pashanski 6-1 5-0 and then Boris retires.

#17 ·
Never in doubt for Rui. And no doubt that he will win against Daniel. Easy job!

#18 ·
Rui got up over Daniel 6-3 7-6(3) and will play the winner of Starace and Andreev.

#19 ·
Today it's Andreev turn. It's harder. But in the end Machado will win. I'm sure he will.

#20 ·
Rui will now play the Moroccan challenger circuit.
