Nestor and Pospisil can play badly together, but I still expect Canada to win the doubles match. The good recent Belgian doubles players (Malisse, Rochus, Rochus, Vliegen) are retired. Their current players have bad Davis Cup doubles records (Darcis 1-5, Goffin 0-1). Bemelmans would seem to be their best doubles player, but even he has never had a big doubles win.

On clay I expect Nest-Pops to play worse, so I don't totally think a win will happen there. You can't say Goffin is bad based on 1 match, Darcis could be better, but Ruben has been quite good for them, he's at least won their last 2 DC doubles matches, including 1 in very tough Kazakhstan.

Players I quite like are: Melzer, Rafa, Fognini, Wawrinka, Tsonga, Ferrer, Haas, Cilic, Kohlschreiber, Bautista Agut, plus others, my favourite surface is clay, but firstly just the game itself.

Canada's whole team is injured. A healthy Raonic is better than any Belgian on clay. Goffin's results so far this season have been unconvincing, including today's close win against a player ranked outside the top 200. Darcis withdrew from his last match and hasn't played since. Pospisil's results on clay are not great, but I still think he has a better chance than Dancevic.

I expect both to be back in time for the tie. They have until after Wimbledon, Raonic's camp is talking about being back for RG. Pospisil is being re-evaluated in a few days time.

If Goffin can beat Tsonga on clay, he most certainly can take Milos. Both Vasek and Frank are pretty much equally bad on clay, neither player has an ATP win on the surface, but I would give Frank the edge as he's been to some challenger finals and even won one, Vasek hasn't even done that.

If Milos is healthy and plays, they'll probably win the tie. If he doesn't, they almost certainly won't. Nothing has changed in that regard.

What colour of clay for Frank? I know he has done well on green clay in the past but I wasn't aware of any success on red clay.

Honestly, this is when we could have maybe used Polansky.

Actually Frank's only clay CH title came on red clay last year in Kosice, Slovakia, he qualified and won, most notable win was over Haider-Maurer in R2, beat Slovak Gombos in the final, also took out Pouille in the SF.
