Well I dont think he has one, and even if he does it is probably lost somewhere. Reached the final last week in the Sunrise challenger beating some good opponents on the way before losing to Monfils.
Today he just beat Dorstch to qualify for his 2nd master series in a row and hopefully his improving form can continue within the tournament with a good draw.
Good win there in heavy conditions from Andy. He was very patient and handled the Santoro game quite well, moved the ball around and took advantage of the short ball.
Time for the Romans to get behind him and he can get rid of clay clown Blake.
Got to be honest this was a disgusting performance and this match should have been won in 2 sets, even playing poorly as he was. Lead 5-4 in the TB with 2 serves, then makes dumb errors.
Its usual for Seppi to blow his chances like this. He is getting older and older and yet his choking plays are still there. Even then, he clearly did not play anywhere near his best.
MONACO Juan [ARG] (12) vs VOLANDRI Filippo [ITA]
BOLELLI Simone [ITA] vs Q
BERRER Michael [GER] (WC) vs SEPPI Andreas [ITA]
GASQUET Richard [FRA] (8 ) vs BYE
If Seppi doesnt reach R3 considering Gasquet simply does not care currently, he should be ashamed... unless of course Gasquet does perform to a high level again.
Would be great to see Simo and Andy face each other in R3 of a master series. I think Seppi can now be content with his week and relax for this next match, but its a massive chance at a QF for him.
Of course we must also consider Gasquet is completely sucking rigth now, but indeed Seppi was hitting some good serves... would like to see more of this against Monaco.
