Re: Week 29: Poznan (Entry List)

Gaba in 1st round! Worst possible draw for Rui!

Fred got a nice draw, and if he plays at his level, I can see him add 110 pts to his ranking...

Re: Week 29: Poznan (Entry List)

Machado def. Gabashvili 6-4 6-4

A close match overall, but the difference came down to the big points, and Rui being more solid with his serve and game.

Gaba hits a better ball than Rui does, but he just couldn't consistently put his combinations together, and he got passive on big points, Rui got aggressive.

Re: Week 29: Poznan (Entry List)

Arnalboldi takes the first 6-2, against Gil.

Gil made A LOT of unforced errors. Arnaboldi hitting pretty well, though. Gil should play more aggressively without errors but it's not looking good for Porteguese.

Re: Week 29: Poznan (Entry List)

Arnaboldi breaks, 6-2 *4-3.

Gil playing much better in the second set but seriously, Arnaboldi is very solid today. He's not making errors, hitting deep, slicing deeep and returning has been very good. Gil is in serious trouble now.

Lojda def. Greul 6-3 6-2

Another pathetic result for Simon.

Hajek 6-3 6-4

Comfortable win.

Re: Week 29: Poznan (Entry List)

Arnaboldi def. Gil 6-2 6-7 6-1

Early exit for Gil but Arnaboldi played pretty good tennis throughout the match and totally deserved the win. Gil could play better and errorless.

Phau takes the first against Robert, 6-4.

Re: Week 29: Poznan (Entry List)

Pass me a bucket with these horrible results today, I think I'm going to THROW UP.

First of all, Bjorn losing to Robert. Bjorn has so much better weapons than Robert, and Robert has been playing week after week, had tough matches last week, and Bjorn took a week off. He should have come here fresh and ready to do damage. But once again, his serve is nowhere to be found. Horrible serving statistics and it's costing him time and time again.

Simon...............losing to LOJDA that badly? I'm guessing he's still injured. I mean, yeah, Dusan played well a couple of weeks ago, but in actuality, he's mediocre. That's such a good match-up for Simon, just be consistent and let Lojda beat himself. Guess the Czech is in a purple patch.

I don't even need to say anything about Fred losing to Arnaboldi of all players. That's a pathetic result.

Also Shittymayr beat Minar, so today's results are horrible. Jan clearly now must win the tournament, to restore sanity.
