Ditto - I find myself liking him but if I paid any attention to what he believes, or what he SAYS he believes anyway, I'd end up going nuts. So I think of him as pretty and ornamental and pay no attention to the drivel :)
While I can understand why he may amuse people - I have a hard time though with myopic ranting (when there seeme to be a brain there) so he tends to bug me more than not. And again- I am not keen on misogyny- no matter how cute the sexist.

He's clearly an intelligent guy--to say nothing of his behavior. However, I've seen a picture or two of him somewhere or other, but I had no idea he was attractive until you folks said so.
It is funny how there can be different ideas of what is attractive- but I do think Gu fits the bill for a number of folks.

So yeah I think he is intelligent but he is happy to come across as someone who has no respect at all for a different view to his own, which is a shame.
That is what bugs the sh** out of me. I don't like it when people want to argue for the sake of arguing and calling anyone who does not agree with them an idiot. I see too much of that type of - or rather lack of - discourse in the political realm.

I guess one shouldn't expect discourse that much in today's messageboard society- but I enjoy it when I find it and I feel the art of discussion is becoming lost.

I kinda feel bad talking about the fellow so much....but oh well- just doing what the thread title demands.

Re: 'Yes, we're probably talking about you' chat thread

Automatic high seeding and Burro the racist and homophobe will be a high seed.

What a surprise Cadel Evans didn't have the Wilanders to win the Tour.

Re: 'Yes, we're probably talking about you' chat thread

^ Yup. Evans is what we call a "wieltjeszuiger".
Basically, a follower and not a leader. Somebody who doesn't really take the iniative.

Before the tour, Michael Boogerd had a go at Evans for not having enough courage to be a tour winner because he doesn't really go for it. He waits for opportunities given to him on a silver platter.

So, a Spaniard wins another big sports event.

Hilde, I said in the cycling thread, that Cadel should give up cycling and take up porno.

He always comes second.

Heretic, actually wasn't too bad once he got away from the incessant thread starting. I think he's on holiday somewhere.

I hope Asafa Powell leaves the Cadel Evans school of Performing in majors.

Re: 'Yes, we're probably talking about you' chat thread

George, Asafa Powell makes Verdasco and PHM look like Nadal in comparison. There is no real comparison though, just a fraction lost in concentration say at the start of the race and the race is lost. It all happens so fast.

Asafa is a bit of a bitch though, he admitted he gave up in last years final. The fact that he has had some injuries this year and the emergence of Bolt has actually helped him, but I still think he will find a way to lose.

Mikey, it was Snow, the legend Canadian who almost moved as well as Stepanek, when he sung "Informer".

I think the local neds would have wanted to dress like him.

If you agreed with my rants and theories, you can join in for sure :yeah:

:rolls: mikey, to pull that off you have to be in a constantly grumpy mood. you're generally nice and cheerful though. maybe you and JM can co-run it

Re: 'Yes, we're probably talking about you' chat thread

Rab.C.Nesbitt, hahaha, what a quality program that was.

It was so funny Bobby Carlyle, does Hamish Macbeth, filmed up in Plockton and Kyle of Lochalsh. Finishes at the right time.

Then the others bandwagoned idea.
