Borna was two times up a break in the first set, and had 4 set points in the second set. He wasn't at his best today, serve wasn't working at all, but he still made it tight.
Let's see now if he gets a wildcard for Vienna and/or Basel.
@1,80 taken . Coric hasn't been clutchy at all through the year and this result sums it up. Still, this time next year should be winning these matches with ease. For being big thing must seriously improve his mentality
FFS Borna is just 17 years old and playing finals and semis on Challenger circuit.
In any case, Borna must improve his 2nd service. He will earn more cheap points, this way it is only shot that he start a rally.
That will come with lots of training and good coach.
OK, so it´s nice to know that Lacko is still better than this youngster. Nice result for Lukas, he´s getting his traditional autumn points. Not really a surprise as Lacko is red-hot recently. It´s not a case very often, but when he´s on, he´s a solid player. Final vs his friend Stakhovsky is gonna be really tough, though.
So your a fan of old mugs when they should have retired ages ago. One day Coric will come along and blast them out of the top 100 in the rudest fashion.
It really bad Coric can't win any tie-breaks almost always agains good opponents!!! He must will learn how to do it!
