re: not playing well, it is starting to seem that his first match at ANY tourney is really not good ... and then he plays better as week goes on. Which, if he learns to get through those first rough ones, I guess is a good thing. If it comes down to Sunday against Granollers, I'm actually not that worried; anything can happen of course but Ramos was actually probably the more difficult opponent for Milos.
I do think Milos is at least making progress on his ROS - huge improvement over last year. Those unforced errors though ... ugh. In the tiebreak when Milos was up 5-4, all 4 of Ramos's points came on unforced forehand winners on points Milos was clearly controlling.
re: points to defend, for sure. He could potentially fall out of top-16 if he doesn't do really well in both San Jose & Memphis.
