To be fair to Rafa, he does play more than a handful of "aesthetically pleasing" points in every match and overall he played a hell of a match today, his best on hardcourts ever. Roger may look more stylish and effortless and all that but Rafa does it his own way.
need to get out of this funk as soon as possible. i don't like going to sleep knowing i haven't got my money back. rough times coming up with these shitty tournaments and my impatientness.
I think this tournament is the best tournament ever because I won a good amount of cash these pass two weeks, I think its more than any other two weeks I ever gambled.
there's money to be made in shitty draws mate. this is where the dogs start barking and favourites are unmotivated. just a matter of finding them which of course isn't easy.
Anyway congrats to Rafa backers. Very disappointed with that match and my bet but I had a very solid tournament overall. No spectacular winners but a solid stream of decent priced favourites kept me nicely in the black and undid the sdamage of the opening 2 weeks where I totally lost my discipline.
+25.34 for the tournament
+11.80 season
I plan to post a more detailed record but it's hard to compile the info from old posts when this forum is so dman unreliable.
looks like alot of people had a good ausopen.
personally I didn't lose one, and I think I hit a 10+ streak.
lack of upsets would have hurt a few.
congrats to those who are up, and good luck in the future!
