Re: Ri-born Richard: Fall 2009 Indoor Season (Kuala Lumpur)
This is a match where Richard should practice different things like trying to be consistently aggressive with forehand. Something he will have to do to beat good players in next matches.
Re: Ri-born Richard: Fall 2009 Indoor Season (Kuala Lumpur)
Great hitting at 5-1, 0-30 for two points in a row with forehand. He should try doing that more often. I know it is much easier to do when you are up two breaks of serve though.
Re: Ri-born Richard: Fall 2009 Indoor Season (Kuala Lumpur)
I was about to say, did I see good forehands?!! Agree that he should use this match to practise some things, since Crivoi is pretty bad to put it nicely.
Re: Ri-born Richard: Fall 2009 Indoor Season (Kuala Lumpur)
Well that was fast. Did I actually see some good forehands? And some crazy angles. His opponent wasn't much of a test but he's been known to screw up matches like that. He actually kept focus for two sets in a row.
Next one will be a different story but glad he had an easy one.
