As he generalized calling Nole fans "hooligans" i made a generalization too as fedtards are the ones who constantly have something with Djokovic fans insulting them whenever they have the opportunity

I think generalizations are generally misleading, and here it was not even a generalization, it was a mistake.

By the way, for the same reason, I think that the initial post saying that you didn't like Roland-Garros because of supporting Djokovic was wrong, it may be part of the reason that you didn't like the people to support Federer against Djokovic, but it doesn't prevent some Djokofans from liking Roland-Garros, and Djokovic is also quite appreciated in France

what is rather charming to me is that you're a Ferrer's fan

and you don't like Federer but you're not an allergic hater from what I could read.

I'm not sure how much it costs per year for flights and accomodation for full-time tennis but let's say it's around £30,000. That $16.4m could fund over 300 tennis players. Rather than constantly increasing the prize money for the big tournaments, how about cap certain level tournaments so the most a male player who reached the 4th round of a slam in singles can get is £xxxxx. Then start funding challengers and futures. Most young players will know that to breakeven they're going to have to get top 100, 200. A lot will be thinking is it really worth trying to become professional? They might not bother because very few tennis players actually make any money from the sport. If prize money was increased then more players would compete professionally and this would create a more competitive sport. And if the brain-dead idiots working for the financial side of the tennis tour haven't realised yet, that means more money from spectators/tv etc

I don't think the ones who lead tennis are brain-dead idiots but like for all political decisions, there are matters of many conflicting interests, short term/long term ...
