Also I was pleased with Mardy's play. I haven't seen him play recently. He's matured as a player, and he had some really nice net play too.

I'm sad for Xa-Xa 'cause he's one of my minor faves. He's a really great guy, and he can play so beautifully..... not that he always shows that. Anyway, he was playing so cleanly in that second set, but he almost lost anyway.

For a while, that was funny; then it was pathetic; and then it was just like driving by a very bad car wreck.

I admire him climbing back the way he has, but then again that means that sometimes I have to watch him play. The sight of his serve is burned into my brain. I've had to have treatment for ptsd
