A really good chance to enter his first SF on clay.
But step by step, hope he can pass R1 easily and keep healthy.
I guess Sweden is cooler than England.
I've never seen his R1 opponent but it would be great if he can win it easily and do well here. It will give him some confidence going into the Olympics. Good luck Grigor!
Looks like he is good on clay like probably every South American guy. Last week he won a Challenger in Panama without losing a set, but I don't know if he will be OK after playing all week long and then traveling all the way to Sweden Grigor is the favourite and I hope he will take advantage of the fact that for once he is seeded
Anyone know when they are going to start broadcasting matches from Bastad? I checked Livescorehunter and there are no feeds from this tournament today.
I don't understand how an ATP tournament in Sweden can't provide live feeds for matches but challengers in Scheveningen and Bogota can.
good win for Grigor 6-3 6-4
Ramos next!
H2H 1-1 first match Ramos won 6-1 6-2
after that Grigor won 6-2 6-2
he has chances!
Let's see what happened
good luck!
He played great today. I was very impressed with his 2nd serve although his 1st serve could have been better. His backhand drive was on fire and his backhand slice has developed into a very effective shot.
Good win and it's nice to see him playing with confidence, beating these types of players and making it into the later stages of tournaments.
 So same old best friend  He's very loyal guy, isn't he? Same old friend, same old girlfriend. But it's good that he's not loyal to his double partners 'cos together they have been awful.

I thought his best friend become Jeremy Chardy He still prefers Dima
I think his answer of the double partner because he is in Sweden now, we will remember to ask him the same question when he travels another country:devil:
