Just have thought he deserves one, or maybe will deserve it soon. Some people in the forum already know him  He's 17 y.o. and has something in the game and general appearance (Lacoste clothes? ) reminding of Grosjean. He won the first futures event few weeks ago, and today made a kind of ATP debut. Defeated Eric Taino 1-6 6-3 9-7 in Roland Garros quallies.

Even if he loses in second round to Lisnard / Darcis, this thread will be bumped sooner or later because I am not used to be mistaken in my choosing the promising juniors. Allez.

I'm happy to see he won the 1st round of the qualies. I like promising juniors. :)

Have you some pics of him? I don't really know what he looks like.

Thanks a lot. He's cute. :D

I hope he'll still be there for the 3rd round of the qualies so I'll be able to see him play. :)

good idea this cheering thread miss nathii :)

Your 1988 vintage did pretty well today. ;) Congrats to Adrian ! Next one will be tough against Darcis but the belgian doesn't seem to be in great shape (he retired from his last match before RG) so who knows...Anyway GL to Adrian :bounce:

Ewww, 4-6 6-1 6-8 against Darcis :(

He had 2-0 in the third set :shout: Nevermind, it's a talent and it's good he actually got the wild card to quallies. Now perhaps he'll be back on future level. He's never played a match in a challenger, I've checked. Just one three setter in chall. quallies - last year.
Greetings and till next time :wavey:

Hey Nathaliia. Do you have other pics of him?

I know what you mean about him looking like Grosjean. I had seen pics and I was like  Is he Grosjean's young brother??? ... but I can't find them now. :(

Hey Julie :wavey:

Pictures can be found on the website of one futures event he played this year in France and lost I think in 1st round. And on the website of the tournament he won (Spain). I have no idea how to find them now. When I said he reminded me about Grosjean, I mainly thought about his game, but yes there is something about his looks as well. ;)

I thought i would give this a bump since Adrian won a 2nd futures tournament at the end of last month, once more in Spain and on hard, and without losing a set :D

You are right, he does :scared: But clay is his worst surface.
He doesn't look like Nadal in person. Allez Adrian :clap2:

I saw him in Paris against Darcis. He should have won. I will have photos later, but I will post all my photos at the same time and I am still getting many developed. Stay tuned ;)

Well, time for a bump because Adrian isn't ranked in 800ish anymore, but now at 367th place, in last 2 months he played 4 futures finals and won the 2 latest (incl. one last week, not losing a set).

This week plays Shrewsbury challenger against Fredrik Nielsen from Denmark, and I can already say I am sure I had jinxed him
