FMTA # 1 Wimbledon

The way it works

You must Choose one Men player of your like. You get 100 points for that player. (100 points, not the surface we used before, this may change but for Wimbledon it will stay)

Scoring System
When sending in points, you must split your 100 points into three sets, 5 for Grand Slams.

Best of Three Matches

51 pts. or more - the set is 6-0
41-50 - the set is 6-1
31-40 - the set is 6-2
21-30 - the set is 6-3
16-20 - the set is 6-4
10-15 - the set is 7-5
7-9 - the set is 7-6(0)
6 - the set is 7-6(1)
5 - the set is 7-6(2)
4 - the set is 7-6(3)
3 - the set is 7-6(4)
2 - the set is 7-6(5)
1 - the set is 7-6(6)

Best of Five Matches
41 pts or more - the set is 6-0
35-40 - the set is 6-1
28-34 - the set is 6-2
22-27 - the set is 6-3
17-21 - the set is 6-4
12-16 - the set is 7-5
10-11 - the set is 8-6
9 - the set is 9-7
8 - the set is 10-8
7 - the set is 11-9
6 - the set is 12-10
5 - the set is 13-11
4 - the set is 14-12
3 - the set is 15-13
2 - the set is 16-14
1 - the set is 17-15
0 - the set is 18-16

You will send points for each match you play and be compared with your opponent’s points.

For example :

PLAYER A send :

1. 20
2. 70
3. 10

PLAYER B send :

1. 3
2. 91
3. 6

PLAYER A won 6:4 3:6 7:6(3)

Doubles

Points from both partners will de added up and then divided by two.

How to participate

Just post the name off the player you want to be in this thread. You don't have to sign up before. This rule may change, but for Wimbledon it will stay.

We also play doubles, so you can team up.

EVERYBODY CAN PLAY !

So, if you are Llodra, I am in as Arnaud Clement and I propose to pair with you as the defending Wimbledon champions. :p

We can PM each other if you don't understand the rule (it took me a few seconds before understanding but that is clear now for me ;) )

Silly question for the rule ... What if we are tied in a set or in the match ?

For example:

I send 70 20 10 and my opponent sends 70 15 15 ==> who wins ?
I send 70 20 10 and my opponent sends also 70 20 10 ==> who wins ?

Could also occur in Doubles where the average could be the same for a set ... :p

Yep, but if we don't use the surface feature, I assume that the Tie-Break bonus will not be used ...

So, the rule is to use rankings of players but if there are 2 newcomers playing against each other, should we ask random.org to find the winner ? :p

I was Ilia Bozoljac in the old game but can I change? :p

If yes David Goffin is in and looking for a doubles partner :p

Hard choice but... Janko Tipsarević in (not sure he would be glad being a girl :D). Anyone wants to team up for doubles? And maybe I'd need a little PM to completely understand the rules, I'm new to this...
