Well it would be an utter disgrace if he did but sadly the answer is yes he can. While he is not a particularly good tennis player he does appear to be a good scheduler capable of seeking out weak events in every corner of the globe. Combine that with some very good draws and he might just make the top 100 even though he would easily be one of the worst players in said top 100.
How anyone can describe this exceptionally boring and not particularly talented player as their favourite defies belief but each to their own and if Louis really things Ward will ever do anything noteworthy such delusions should be pitied.
He definitely can. I would prefer Evans in the top 100 though, the much more entertaining and talented player. Unfortunately tennis is no priority for Evans he would rather party and get wasted. He is content...the LTA will continue to spend money on him which will just destroy any hope he has of making it big. Give him fuck all I say like any eastern European player starts out on, and then he might get motivated.
He is incredibly hard working and focused on his tennis/driven which cant be said of many Brit tennis players outside of Murray. It wouldbe a nice reward for him and I kind of hope he does it.
Up to 106 provisionally following his QF win vs Kokkinakis this week. Just 2 wins away from the top 100 now, I hope he can do it and secure direct entry to the Australian Open in the process.
I have more time for Ward than i do for Evans. Ward may just be a journeyman player, but at least he applies himself and works hard and making the top 100 would be just reward. Being in the top 100 is a huge achievement, these players would triple bagel all of us in 30 minutes so to describe them as average is hilarious.
Evans on the other hand is nothing more than a Chav who can play tennis a bit. I hope when he looks back on his life in ten years time, he recognises the massive failure his career ended up being while he collects his minimum wage working at Mcdonalds. I got no time for that muppet, give that guys talent to people prepared to use it as he clearly has no interest. Even if he only became top 50, he could have finished up with a nice career and financial security for the rest of his life.
