summary on saturday

to learn better things tennis. i shall;

#1 never bet with a sleepy and whiteouted blurring head while it is like a stone.
#2 keep it even like a mirror-like surface of pond in woods. nor tense nor hot, no matter what a circumstance is.
#3 pay due respect to learning and forecasting process.
#4 organize time management both daily and of longer terms.

the vid below is what i came across while searching vids for very enjoyable game of 'MTF BSG #21: Synthpop (Nominations deadline 8 July) ' at
http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=662793

:rolls: note their hairstyles varies. soundtrack includes audience's reaction, tones of which is also noteworthy. makes me laugh hard even to tears. ah, yes, a number of comments is over 16k, which also is interesting.

anyhow as a whole, including all the comments and everything, i take it as a comedy made by some 20k people, if count audience of the soundtrack and so on. it is also an unitentional good show of what is the net and the people including myself.

here, what is your reaction like, i wonder....

a thread has been started, named 'Brief Guide To MTF Games By A Beginner For A Beginner'.

intention here is to share some of my experience mainly related to MTF game practices and rules.

here is the copy of cover story.
too as a matter of fact points are seldom described explicit or announced clearly, hence, it sometimes hampers a beginner and sometimes make it not easy to get into enjoyable games.

a person who created this thread, became a MTF member to learn things tennis in late March, 2015. initial plan was to make a read-only member, no immediate plan to games, but somehow started to play games not with any plan just for fun.

but while playing games, it was noticed that playing games is an excellent tool for developing match forecast skills. besides playing games brings some good friends, too.

some games have simple rules, so that we can play it by just to see and to follow a game thread. some are not so simple, sometimes you are requested to read/understand rules before entry. and some games require commitment beforehand,

aim of this thread is to share what i have experienced so far. there might be posts based on misunderstanding, or ones to which further discussion is needed.

so everybody is welcome to comment to make finally a quick and brief guide for a beginner. should experienced game players who knows rules you are, please advise and help beginners with reference of post in an existent rule thread. such contribution will be appreciated much.

for myself, i shall write here every time when there is something noteworthy.

since last Thursday, perhaps, no time to update log.
here resumed.

Saturday's outcome

Out of 8 matches,

forecasts 5 true 3 false
bets no win 8 losses
loss streak record 8

summay
kind of hard to make anything 8 in a row.
decision to be made while not sleepy nor with time limit closing in.
lots of learning materials on match choice processes on the day.
may find a tip to realized to start the streak of opposite side.
however forecasts of confidence turned out to be false; this is the issue to be worked on for future prevention.

getting used to prepare match forecasts in exact points, less time spent for the process, more consciousness with more time to check official site, twitters, and other references.

it will help improve forecast's quality a bit further.

Wimbledon ‏@Wimbledon 10m10 minutes ago

With no urgent need to finish the match tonight, both Djokovic & Anderson were happy to resume at 1pm on No.1 Court tomorrow. 2/2

Regarding Djokovic/Anderson not being moved to Centre: Ideally, tournament scheduling aims to finish a match on the court it started. 1/2

in a certain thread...

Go to the BBC site and then to the Tennis section, and you can watch any match in GREAT quality with UK English comment.

You only can watch it if you live in the UK, if you live somewhere else, install hola! plugin or Zenmate plugin for Chrome, set up UK as your location and then enjoy the BBC online Wimbledon.

It works like a charm.

match outcome forecasts; true 9, false 2.
set rate forecasts; true 4, false 7
points forecasts; true none, false 11
out of 3 matches chosen for tm tennis game;
match outcome forecasts; true 2, false 1
false is Langer over Ymer match.

another false forecast is Ghem over Granollers

by the way, why the system does not let me get out result page to go back to the original page? i would like to get the exact words.

Forecast Thursday Outcome

Out of 4 matches @Braunschweig Challengers
Match Outcome: True 2 including 1 Walkout, False 2
Set Rate: True 1, False 3
Points; True none, False 4

Day's feature
#1 Wimbledon's Second Thursday's was no match, While Provisional Schedule in the Official Site said so, strangely enough it was totally out of my mind.

#2 One more absent-minded error, details of which is, also strangely enough, out of my memory. Do not remember anything but the fact I did it.

#3 Found several of fellow MTFers of various tastes, who I'd like to follow activities.

Day's Summary
#1 Generally it is said that internet use widens people's activity worldwide. I am not going to discuss it here, but, I feel at the same time, shrinks people's activity too.
#2 Net activity seems to me a good and hard training tool to develop consistency of mind and time management skills. There is a good essay, titled 'Madness Aboard: Welcome to plane insanity' by HESTER Elliot. The way I feel is Hester's plane is internet. Both make people run wild. To keep calm in any circumstances have been a goal of life among people who think things.
In this way, I believe net is a good training field for mental athleticism.
#3 Sleepy brain produces poor quality forecasts and errors of various kind. Time management needs to be improved.

Forecast

Braunschweig SF Friday

DANIEL over KRAJINOVIC : 64 64
MATHIEU over DE BAKKER : 63 63

Comment
Points forecast started on R128 of Wimbledon and all the matches.
A few were close with difference 1 or 2 on game average basis.
For the time being no expectation to place it right.
No way/ very limited possibility of improving points forecast skills

first to catch a provisional schedule on Grand Slum level.
it will help organize schedule and enjoy watching tournament more.
till wimbledon at the latest, it was just a chaos for me playing tennis games... fun though, competition with time is thrilling...
shall enjoy watching watching real tennis playing also as well as better preparation of tennis games.
