So basically he has just said he will be out for a while and journalists are assuming the worst to make a more interesting story.
From the sounds of it, playing MC was an extremely idiotic move on his part though. Possibly blown one of his best shots at RG for a m1000 he's already won .
RG will be an utterly dreadful tournament without Djokovic present .

Pretty much. Better wait until Novak or his team comment on the situation before reaching any conclusions, he says nothing is broken though so that's a good sign, otherwise wrist surgery could put an abrupt end to his career at the top.
lets say that hypothetically he did miss the French and then Federer did too and we know del potro will not be able to play.
That would mean that 3 of the top 10 would be missing.
Double Career slam is very hard to achieve. Specially when the likes of Agassi(RG), Federer(RG) and Nadal(AO) barely won their weakest slam once. Any of the 3 could have easily lost that year.
Agassi barely beat Clement and Medvedev. Federer barely beat Haas and Del Potro. Nadal barely beat Verdasco and Federer. Some slams can only be won once.
No trustworthy source indicate slams will be lost, if some should at a later stage this thread may be reopened.
