Default Official Grand Slam DVDs?

We interrupt your Australian Open coverage to ask:

I see that Wimbledon has produced a number of match DVDs over the last decade (and some previous classics), but do the other GS do the same? As far as I can see from Amazon, there are only the last few years' worth of finals/semis for the AO, the US Open has very little, and the FO seems to have nothing at all. Or is that simply because I'm based in the UK and looking on UK-based sites? I'd have thought that for something specialist like this the manufacturers would go for a no-region coding, but you never know.

There are Australian Open films, similar to the Wimbledon films, from 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. They are awesome and I downloaded them awhile ago. I have not seen them being sold anywhere, though.

Oops, I totally forgot to come back and check this thread! Maybe the AO or something got in the way. Thanks for the response: I've just looked on LOVEFILM and spotted that they have 3 DVDs for AO 2012 - official film, men's final and Djoko/Murray semi - but nothing else at the moment. Not sure I can face the final: was the semi worth watching? I suppose we had it on TV at some time when I was working, since Murray was playing, but I don't think I saw it.

The fact that single matches can be worth $10-$20 bucks, an entire DVD of slams would be quite expensive. I don't see the point when things like youtube exist, tbh.

Federer's peak is supposedly in 2004-2007, but his best grass match was WI 2009 final, his best hard court match was WTF 2010 final, and his best clay match was RG 2011 SF

Oldgassi combined 30-17 H2H against weak era clowns: Roddick, Nalbandian, Hewitt, Safin, Haas, Coria, Ljubicic, Blake, but any problem cannot be found? GOAT argument

I have never - not once - seen an official tennis DVD available. Period. When I go to JB (Australia's largest DVD retailer), they have basketball, baseball, UFC, WWE, football, AFL, and NFL DVD's but none of tennis. It sucks.

As Kat_YYZ I've only seen this kind of DVD in online shops. Not any DVD from Roland Garros, yes from the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.

quality?

also I don't know how it is where you live, but where I live I have a monthly rate for my internet with a monthly usage allowance. If I go over the limit I have to pay for the overage. So it's hardly free. I'd rather limit my streaming to live tennis matches that I want to watch that aren't being broadcast on TV.

My monthly internet bill is about 60 dollars, but there is no limit on usage. Yeah, it isn't free, but there are more than enough benefits besides tennis. I regularly watch soccer online as well.

Thanks, Kat. I'd always thought that Kultur only did, well, arts and stuff. Obviously not.

My monthly usage limit (on mobile) is 3 Gig, which is, what, one 2-setter, 3 sets if not close? So not much good for me. I was thinking more of DVDs because I ought to be able to rent at least some of them - don't necessarily want to view the matches repeatedly (and certainly not W 2009).
