I saw this guy playing on Ordina Open 2nd Round vs Raemon Sluiter on Eurosport. He was crushed, but he was so damn cool I got a fan of him!

He has an awesome serve, amongst the best I've seen. But no other hit can be close to match it...

I noticed his rank isn't that impressive but he can get better!

Let's go Philipp!

He already dropped to 361 in singles and 118 in doubles. :help: Now 30 points from UAE F1 and F2 will fall off in the upcoming 3 weeks.

The good news is he appears on the entry list for UAE F1 (week 14), so he'll try to defend his title from Dubai last year. Of course, for doubles it won't help much.

St Brieuc 21'250 € (indoor clay)
Qualifying:
(4)Jose Antonio Sanchez de Luna (ESP) - Philipp Petzschner (GER)
Martin Fischer (AUT) - Timo Nieminen (FIN)
Nick van der Meer (NED) - Lars Uebel (GER)
Denis Matsukevitch (RUS) - (7)Daniel Brands (GER)

Finally he's back, even if it's on clay.

Here's a summary of 2007: He has only 6 points in singles and 4 in doubles so far. Last year he had already over 300 points in doubles in March.

UAE F2 15'000 $

2R (5)Philipp Petzschner d. Julien Maes (FRA,549) 6-1 6-1 :yeah:

Louk Sorensen (460) is next! If he beats him, it could be an interesting clash with an in-form Qureshi in the semifinal.

QF (4)Philipp Petzschner (GER) - (6)Ladislav Chramosta (CZE,477)

It's only his second quarterfinal on clay in his career, the first since 2002. :tape: I've seen Hasek last week and I must say 3 and 3 is a great score against him. Of course, he gets only 2 points for reaching the quarterfinal, so it won't help his ranking much unless he makes the final.

It's good to see that he has a small chance to get direct entry for a few challengers despite his ranking (#442).

I don't think you can say it was his own decision not to play ATP doubles. ;) After his first injury break, he was already down to 140. That's already too bad for most tournaments.

As for Oberstaufen, you can check the link in my sig. Maybe it works for you. The points in the first game at 0-15 and 15-30 are very nice.
