He has a week off in between. Plays Washington, Canada, and Cincinnati, then he takes a week off (because best of 3 are just so grinding!) then he will play the US Open.

I know there is a week off between Cincinnati and the USO.
Imo if he goes far in all, meaning semis or finals, it will affect him in the latter stages of the USO. When playing any of the top 4 stamina is a huge issue.
Well, he won this event twice, including in 2009 before taking the USO, so let's see how this works. Expect him to withdraw from Cincy like he did in 2009 if he goes far in both DC and Canada.
Also, you missed the most important bit of news here regarding Tsonga, I'll make a thread about it though.

Figures. When I am scheduled to work & can't afford tickets, he decides to get a WC. If he skips Cincy (which I actually have tickets to and the time off), I'll be mad.
He was not horribly injured, he fell and hurt his knee during his 2nd round match, but not serious enough that he couldn't play.
It's not like he had to withdraw and hit the practice courts the next day.
Seems sensible. He needs some matches on hard before USO and can't be sure he'll get enough in Montreal/Cincy. Better to start earlier and then withdraw from Cincy if things go well. That would also give two weeks of rest before USO instead of one.
He hyperextended his knee at Wimbledon. I've had the same injury myself. I was surprised he was able to make it as far as he did - pure determination on his part. It's quite painful but if you keep the knee wrapped and stay off it for a couple of weeks, it usually clears up, so I am hoping that is what DelPo is doing before he gets back into it.

Strange. Why not just rest the knee? It seems like Montreal and Cincy would be enough of a warmup for the US Open. The knee must be feeling a lot better already.
really close to where I live I will probably buy tickets this year, haven't been for a few seasons because the draw absolutely sucked the past few years
P.S. saw him here in what, 2009, I think
Why are you guys feeding the troll? A dumb troll no less, he unwillingly admitted that his favorite player, Murray, is an injury faker. If that's how he feels, let's leave it at that.
