Award presented to him right now at a ceremony in Paris by Gasquet. Nadal's not too worried about the ITF and its little award I don't think.

Past winners of the L'Equipe award - Bolt, Federer, Jordan, Messi, Karl Lewis, Schumacher, Nadal (in 2010) etc.

Hopefully Nadal doesn't test positive for coke after getting so close to Gasquet.

Actually doesn't look too bad here.

Seriously though, that hair is a real problem. Ought to pull an Agassi or a Blake before it gets much worse.

Because Nadal missed 7 months of tennis cause his 'ego' was hurt right?

This is just a consolation prize. All the good awards are going to Muzza and Nole, which is hilarious considering how poor Nole has been by his standards! When was the last time the number 1 player didn't win the ITF award? A long time :D It's not just the best ever years like Nole 2011, Fed 2005, 2006, 2007, McEnroe 84 etc that get more recognition than this year, it's even years like Novak 2012 :D :D :D Hell, Nadal's best year 2010 isn't even talked about outside his tween fan base ;)

I am going to start a poll asking if Nadal's 2013 was one of the top 20 seasons ever. Anyone who votes yes should get a lifetime ban from the forum for outrageous trolling :) Merry Christmas!

Congrats Rafa
Now get ready for 2014 please. Need to survive new gymnast tricks next year.

Interesting this happened after all the other awards went to everybody else. Wonder how much money the ATP bribed to get Nadull this award?

Why is Gascoke giving him the award anyway? Probably couldn't find another person in France who doesn't despise Nadull, but even so sad to see the fake humble Nadull humiliating his competition in ceremonies
