Why is Ryan still in the States when all the other Americans left for Australia already? I really don't want to hear about travel disaster to start the year.
Yes I understand that part, but he could have left on Christmas like the other guys instead of the 26th. Hopefully, he won't be too jet lagged b/c the qualies is tomorrow or tonight depending on your time zone.

sure, he had the weakest opponents among all the seeded players. (rare for his usually bad luck in draw).
i thought he should not even lose one set to his next opponents who only played four atp games in his long pro-tennis career and mostly played futures last year.
but after wu beat smyczek, i think he should not drop any set before entering the main draws!
