Yeah, I'd like to see more people working positively for the things they like, instead of negatively against the things they don't like. I am certainly no fan of christmas or Santa myself but I don't go around trying to diminish the joy other people find in it.
I remember I had to take breaks too. And I remember turning up for an interview convinced I wouldn't get the job. Which then of course I didn't. Easy to recommend keeping the negative thoughts away, harder to accomplish. I really hope you'll manage. Only need one job where they see your potential
Counting the days till thursday, when we celebrate "pakjesavond" (translated: "presents evening). At this evening we celebrate Sinterklaas by giving each other presents.
Also we have something that is a bit like "secret santa". (wikipedia: Gifts are to be creatively disguised (for which the Dutch use the French word "surprise"), and are usually accompanied by a humorous poem which often teases the recipient for well-known bad habits or other character deficiencies.)
I am about to finish the poem I wrote for my bf. The advantage of having no job is that I can finish this early, I usually won't start on the poem until the day of celebration
