OK - well before my trip to Paris 2008, some of us were discussing the (in)famous "Novak" thread, and how it was originally started by someone who was definitely not a Nole fan After many long discussions, we decided it might be nice to start a new one, where people with "wandering and confused minds" as Herdwick would call us, can get together and chat.
We weren't sure whether it would take off at first, - but as this is Volume 5, seems that it has
I'll change the thread name in time - always open to suggestions for that, but just using this one at first, as I have no inspiration at all today Finally, just wanted to say this is in no way meant to replace or "downgrade" the Forum Chat thread in any way - it is just a place for us posters with slightly different interests to get together and feel comfortable chatting.

that avi upsets me a little in a good way. It reminds me so much of my childhood moggy. In fact my dad has just gone past and actually thought it was a picture of him.

No don't do that. It's kind of nice but sad at the same time if you know what i mean. I wonder if they have similar natures too. He was the sweetest most placid cat I've ever had. BUt he loved me and didn't really like anyone else.

Well if you want me to, just say the word. I normally only keep each avvie for a week anyway - and then change them. And actually - I wouldn't call Frodo that placid or similar to your old moggie from how you describe - he's very much an outdoor, hunting cat, and quite self-contained and aloof in some ways. My Sasha (the ginger one that was in the avvie just before with the Christmas tree) is the sweet, placid one, who totally adores me. Frodo does his own thing a lot - sometimes he'll disappear for hours and only come back when he wants feeding - though he's been indoors more recently since it's been really cold.
I wasn't worried. It's you who should have been worried if you didn't had voted properly
Goodnight!
