Re: Rotterdam Entry List (updated December 29, 2009)

Hope Robredo lost all his first round matches in this european tour, as he won't play againg the latin american tournaments were he won 2 tournaments last year.
Although I know he will recieve more money playing here,
all guys in this entry list can defeat him in this surface, silly decision of Tommy

Strange Llodra isn't here seeing as he's a past champion ...

First wildcard to Thiemo de Bakker[NED]

The first of the three available Wildcards for the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament is awarded to Dutch player Thiemo de Bakker. Richard Krajicek: “As is known from previous years it has my preference to see Dutch players at the start of the tournament. With his progression during the last months Thiemo has made it clear that he deserves this Wildcard.”

Thiemo de Bakker played in the singles tournament of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament twice. In 2009 he lost his first round match to Andreas Seppi in three sets. Two years earlier third seed Ivan Ljubicic proved too strong, also in the first round.
Second wilcard to Robin Haase[NED]

Re: Rotterdam Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated January 18, 2010)

Bit strange that Cilic isn't here.
Guess it's because he plays Zagreb the week before, which is his home tournament so he can't really miss it  Zagreb comes immediately after Australia, so if he comnits to Rotterdam as well, he'll have no rest time at all for quite a long period, so I assume he just wants to stay home and have a weeks' rest after the Zagreb tournament and that means missing Rotterdam.
