At a depth of 25 miles I don't think a tsunami is possible. I think the sea floor has to actually rupture. At a depth of 25 miles there would just be shock waves in the ocean, not the same as a tsunami.
Strange, but this afternoon I felt a small jolt, the first in San Jose in over a year. But it was a few hours earlier than the Peru quake. Still, it might be related.
I dont know if it have to do with it but ehre in Venezuela its raining ALOT!..
They closed Maiquetia's Airport few days ago (OPene d just in hours - Caraca's Airport)
