Absolutely fantastic play by Cabrera, just some bad luck - but that's golf.

Awesome putt from Scott. The jinx for him is over.

Too bad he'll have to transition from the putter soon.

Re: Golf 2013 - Waiting for Augusta
Why do they want to do away with these long putters? Is there a scientific reason behind it all or just someone being unhappy someone else can beat them if they use a longer stick?

Well they ruled that it is against the spirit of the sport to use putters that use another part of the body for executing the shot than just the hands. You can still have a long putter, as long as it doesn't lean on the body. (I think)
Grats to Scott, even though I was pulling for Cabrera, Scott deserved to win one finally.

Re: Golf 2013 - Waiting for Augusta
The whole day was a roller coaster today. It seemed Cabrera had it in the bag, then Day, then Scott with that putt in the 18th whole.
At the end both Cabrera and Scott were really clutch, Pato had some bad luck but Scott was amazing with that putt for championship. Well deserved.

Re: Golf 2013 - Waiting for Augusta
What a great way to finish the Masters!
Great birdie at 18th almost gave Scott the win but a balls-of-steel shot gave Cabrera an easy birdie putt to take it to the playoff. And great to see neither player choked in the playoff. A deserved victory for Adam!
And Snedeker.

You'd think the Aussies, with three men in the running, could produce something. Would be glad to see Scott finally nailing one.

Things went as I hoped
Wouldn't have minded Cabrera, though. I'm not sure but I imagine he'd have been the first winner who wouldn't have been qualified to play but for the rule allowing in former champions.
