I had to post this to talk about the elections, because I don't belong in either the Obama or the McCain threads.
I voted this morning here in Virgina.
Barr for President.
Warner for Senate.
Perriello for Congress.
The races I'm watching most closely are for the aforementioned Perriello (who is the best change we've had to get rid of that asshole Goode), the NC Senate race (go Hagan!), and California's prop 8.
Can somebody explain me why CNN had announced McCain as winner in Kentucky when they had only 10 % or sth. counted according to the display and it was like 51-48?
I always thought early precinct/district that are reporting are smaller/rural ones which tend to be Ruplican. You can't draw too much conclusions from a McCain lead in some states after a limited number of votes counted. Once more results from cities come in, Obama is likely to gain a lot of ground in those states.
I know, I'm nervous as hell, but Maryland-bordering VA is still mainly not reporting, and there is still the rest of Indianapolis to go.... I'm not giving up yet
