Re: Could Nole 2.0's domination of Nadal be forgotten?
Difference is Federer won no matter where he played in 2005 (the Blakes, Hewitts & Roddicks were satisfied with losing and not being factors on clay), but the last 5 years, he needed Del Potro/Benneteau to choke, and a slumping & unfit Nadal & Djokovic for him to be able to grab 3 tourneys (Wimbledon, French Open, Madrid).

domination?
most of faker's wins were rather close. he was lucky to win several of them, including his AO victory this year.

Re: Could Nole 2.0's domination of Nadal be forgotten?
when faker and nadull meet, we assume by default that they're injured and thus the five set match between these two spartan warriors becomes even more epic

It will be remembered forever because no one else could do it or will do it again.

One poster even suggested their 2012 AO final was "harder than racing a marathon"

And finally, since Nole beat a clownish Nadal in many of his slam victories, his achievements are further cheapened.
Conclusion: everyone is a clown, playing in a neverending clown era.

This is exactly the point..the Djokovic from pre USO 2010 and the Djokovic from now is like two totally different players.
