Man,yesterday you were complaining how the Canadians were overrating Dancevic and now you come up and say that this is a poor result for Ramos (winning a set was more than he could have expected),what on earth is that?Or you think Ramos should be top 20?

I think Ramos should have created at least one break point chance. Not creating any equates to a poor performance, IMO.

The shoreline here flatters Ramos, he never had an opportunity to break Raonic, and I don't think that's acceptable, regardless of how well Raonic served.

re: not playing well, it is starting to seem that his first match at ANY tourney is really not good ... and then he plays better as week goes on. Which, if he learns to get through those first rough ones, I guess is a good thing. If it comes down to Sunday against Granollers, I'm actually not that worried; anything can happen of course but Ramos was actually probably the more difficult opponent for Milos.

I do think Milos is at least making progress on his ROS - huge improvement over last year. Those unforced errors though ... ugh. In the tiebreak when Milos was up 5-4, all 4 of Ramos's points came on unforced forehand winners on points Milos was clearly controlling.

re: points to defend, for sure. He could potentially fall out of top-16 if he doesn't do really well in both San Jose & Memphis.

I didn't watch the match and I don't know how well Raonic served, but ok,not a single bp so I get your point, however winning a set is a very good result for him,and I presume it's a fast surface in Canada. That's why I think it can't be regarded as a poor result.
