Thanks so much, very interesting to read. I was hoping you'd be able to elaborate on the "verbal jabs" in the Williams vs. King-Turner match.
Also, as I'll be living in the area soon, could you tell me if it's at all possible to reach the venue by public transport/walking from the main bus stop in Binghamton? (I'll probably have to learn to accept that that's not possible in the US)

In the first set, King-Turner converted set point on a cheap net cord winner, and a few moments later told the chair umpire that Williams called him a "f***ing pussy" during the change of ends. A couple changeovers later, K-T told the umpire that Williams said something again, and said "it's such poor sportsmanship it's a joke". He was upset that the umpire didn't give Williams a point penalty (he had a ball abuse warning earlier.)
I'm not sure about the bus stop as I've never taken the bus, and I live less than half a block from the tournament. I always just walk over, but I do notice the city bus going by the venue fairly regularly. I'm not sure how close the nearest stop is.
I'll have another article about the semis posted this evening.

Unfortunately, that is his personality. Foul language is a norm for him, just look at his twitter account .

I find his twitter quite entertaining, though certainly not predicated on spelling

I think he has his own language. I don't understand what he is talking about half the time . He is indeed an interesting character.

Re: Week 29: Binghampton (Entry List)
Final: Yani def. Wolmarans 6/4 7/6(11)
Wolamarans had 40/0* to make it to the decider but lost 5 points in a row. In the TB he saved 5 set (and match) points but doublefoulted on the 6th one.

Re: Week 29: Binghampton (Entry List)
Much needed win for Yani, who has been very low on confidence

Wow and he is now in the lead for USO wildcard. Didn't see this coming, but congrats to Michael.

Re: Week 29: Binghampton (Entry List)
It's not news that Rhyne Williams is a terrible sport. He was a joke in collge as far as that was concerned. Not surpised to hear that he still is.

Re: Week 29: Binghampton (Entry List)
Big congrats to Mike!!! He's not had a very good last few months but he always seems to put together some great tennis at some point during the year. Great time to win a title.
