Strategic tank from the Fog. He needs to rest for DC quarters against Canada.

Once upon a time there was a myth about strong and weak eras. On this glorious day the clownery was eventually unmasked: 30 y.o. past-prime daddy Fed became #1 once again in the supposed strong "Spartan" era with his rivals at their peak.
And they all lived happily ever after.

Congratulations Guido! Really important win for him, and I'm happy he got the monkey off his back sooner rather than later.

OK, someone uploaded the entire match in HD like a genius (RG v Monfils, Montanes and Troicki would be nice, someone, seriously.) - for the EPIC kicking a racket out of the stadium, go to Pella *2-0 15-15 in the third from 1:17:00 onwards (also a replay exactly a minute later).

just godlike.

This is a good victory for Guido in order to focus on his purpose to finish this year in the top 70. He needs to get used to these sort of players and beat them aswell. Now he faces an overrated David who struggled to defeat Aguilar (player that is usually ranked around 200). If Guido is in a good day and doesn't feel fear of David I reckon has a very good chance to beat him.

like a boss!

Also if you watch next point he hits a legendary dropshot which drops inside his side of the court.
