No traces of good play from previous two rounds. Struggled throughout and went down. I'm not entirely sure the pin him on the BH, else play down the middle was the best strategy. I'd rather he went for dictating the rally more often as he usually does.

Onto the clay season, MC is next for him.

He'll make up in the ones leading to USO I doubt IW and Miami will ever be his favorites, but he should be able to do a bit better. As long as he makes good on the clay swing, he can still earn some nice points before Wimby

Marin why ?His side of the draw is so wide open he could have made it the finals!I know Verdasco is a great tennis player but If he could have just got past him then who knows what could have happened !
