I cannot think of many ocassions in recent times where I actually liked Andy's 1st performance. He is always sloppy.
Nothing new I see.

That may be true but still...if he plays Andreev next, he should really work on that serve, though Andreev hasn't been anything special as of late.

I must confess, I've always liked Seppi - his calmness, his composure, his resilience... but I love grouchy Andy better  At least the match was more competitive than indicated by the scoreline, always good to be tested in the initial rounds.
Andy has got such a great first serve - unfortunately, too often he has to resort to that punishable second serve. Life could be so much easier if he found that first serve more consistently and held games more comfortably. But, he is making a concerted effort to make adjustments to his game, just a matter of it coming all together on the big occasions.

Andy won 63 75 but it was another big struggle, he was 63 52 up and failed to serve it out at 53, just bloody hard work.
