I will post questions and you can post answers on those questions.
1. The tiebreak rule is to go by how many correct picks the players had in each round, (for example)
1. # of correct Final picks
2. # of correct SF picks
3. # of correct QF picks
4. # of correct R16 picks, etc.
and if the players are still tied after each round, then they'll just remain tied. YES or NO?
2. To play all tournaments in week or make vote thread for one tournament? Example: Doha, Brisbane, Chennai. YES or NO?
Ok well since no one spoke up against the tiebreak rule, I'm going to say that the tiebreak will come into effect for the 2010 season. So managers, be aware of this!
and I know dusan had this extra tiebreaker in his exhibition tournament which was for whoever posted their draw first but I don't think we should have that during the season. I'm thinking people won't like that they have to submit their draws right away just to get a higher placing. We'll just keep it so that if after counting the picks for each round and you're still tied, you'll just stay tied.
I see what he is saying in a situation like Marseille, where there is a Q vs. Q match and the last day of Qualies is today when the main draw starts. I find it a bit silly, but you can't award just 0 points if the Qualies appear in the draw before main draw play begins and people can make an actual pick.
I don't think it's that much of a big deal. If you get lucky, you'll pick the right qualifier and get that extra correct pick for the round. If not, then too bad. I think luck is just part of the game.
