guys, I really don't see the need to go to such lengths to discuss where pics can or cannot be posted. Now that we're expecting less traffic in this forum and marat doesn't "appear" that often anymore, unlike in previous years where we get tournament pics every day, I don't see any problem in posting older, "rarer" pics.

Having said that, I sometimes like to scroll through the old piccies thread to see all the crazy things we said when the pics first came out. and all the dumb things I used to say I think sometimes the things we said were crazier than the pics (actually, make that everytime)

and no, we really don't need a poll for this

MMm, but I think you missed the joke about 2010 here. I saw these old pics and remembered my first intervention on this topic, on first page received this comment from you :

Perfectly put! I don't think this is a particularly heated discussion - just some suggestions, it's a shame if that's taken wrongly. I like seeing old pictures and appreciate the effort it takes to post them, I just would really like to see a thread with purely new 2010 photos.

Thanks, Penny, I didn't think so either, my tongue was firmly wedged in my cheek when I made that suggestion!

Just to say, at no point have I taken anything personally or amiss, or felt any heat in the discussion. I hope I addressed people's points rationally and logically.

But I find it unusual that, whereas forum members were quite happy in previous photo threads to post or enjoy pics from different years (even in this 2010 one, to post pics from 2005 and 2009), suddenly now a wish is expressed to restrict the 2010 photo thread to current-year-only pics.

I'm guessing this wish is not widely held, although I may be wrong, but given there will be comparatively fewer new photos of Marat to post from now on, to place such a rigid restriction makes no sense whatsoever to me.

I'm a new forum user. Personally, I find it good to see not only the (rare) 2010 photos but also some of the rarely seen older photos. Perhaps if we had a "rare photos" thread, then all the 2010 photos should go in that too, since there aren't that many of them! (Joke - people). I do look at the older threads, but I do that in little bits, because there really are so many older threads and some of them have so much in them. So I'm with the idea that we continue the "Because love, beauty and Bespoke tailoring" thread with both the rarely seen older photos and the rarely taken 2010 photos.

hehe sorry to disappoint you but there is nothing really juicy on the pic. I just thought at first I shouldn't post it because it's kind of personal, with other people on it... on the other hand the guy put it on his page so why not guess It's silly I know
