Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has withdrawn from the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament because of a trunk injury. Michael Llodra, tournament winner in 2008, will be replacing his fellow countryman.
Michael Llodra, who would originally participate in the qualifying tournament, was added as the first replacement. No further details regarding Tsonga’s injury were disclosed at this point in time.
The draw for both the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament and the qualification will take place tonight.

hmm I don't think think they could be any more vague describing his injury. I hope it has nothing to do with his old disc problem. he better defend Marseille.

New interview on Jo's official website regarding Rotterdam withdrawal.

Per Google translator, he has a 2 cm tear in an abdominal muscle and this happened during the Almagro match.

Re: Aussie Summer '10 : AO Semis, good job Jo:)
Thanks greenhopper for the news update.
To add: he definitely wants to defend his title in Marseille. He hopes to start training beginning of (this) week. He will not focus on his serves for now. The timing is about right, for the first 4 seeds are given a bye in the first round. This will allow him a little bit more time to prepare.
