Re: Florent Serra
Thanks a lot, great pics, the grass looked awesome back then!
The match was so typical again, some of his collapses are unreal. He really had two spectacular defeats in a row with the Nole match and that one.
He said after the match he obviously needs to take some time off.
He has entered Bastad, Hamburg and Gstaad this summer.

Re: Florent Serra
It was in the morning ? He looks as if he just woke up lol.
I read on l'equipe that it was in fourth first round exit in a row Since this Djoko match it's tough for him. Maybe better in switzeland.

Re: Florent Serra
No, it was around 6-7pm!
Flo always looks like he's half asleep.
It was a terrible match from him yesterday again. :-( 0/10 on BP in the first set, Philipp served well on most of them, but Flo wouldn't put a return in the court either, it was getting silly. And in the 2nd set then he had already given up - pretty weird, it's not like Petzsche is unbeatable...
It's the 3rd shocking collapse I see of him in a very short time after the Djoko and the Kohli one in Wimby, he's always been prone to them, but it's worse than ever lately. He just stops playing.

Re: Florent Serra

Nice win over Karlovic in Basel. Always very appreciated.
Probably Stepanek next.

Re: Florent Serra

I had a small hope because Melzer was not happy at all about his first round draw, he was whining in his last blog entry that he doesn't like this kind of players.
6/1, 6/7(3), 6/4, 4/6, 6/3 in 3 h 04 - his first win in 5 sets according to the FFT website! It was about time, he will turn 29 soon.
He says in his audio interview he knew about his poor stats in 5 sets, but it wasn't bothering him because he hasn't played so many matches in 5 sets (4, I think), so it wasn't on his mind at the beginning of the 5th set. He had the feeling that he was controlling the game and just needed to keep it up.
Nieminen now, Flo has a great record against him (4-1).

Re: Florent Serra

OMG, he's so happy to have won another 5-setter, he fell on the ground and he went to Vallejo in the stands to give him a big hug.
He was 2-5 down in the 4th set, then Jarkko injured himself, in the 5th set Florent called for the trainer - I watched the last 3 sets, it was dramatic!
