Re: soderling
He looked and sounded very nervous in his pre-match interview

Hi all,
3-2 Robin on serve. This looks like another tough match. I am praying Robin gets a break and no more first set tiebreakers.

Re: soderling
Hi Tim I'm not so comfortable with Robin's serve tonight. He seems to be making a lot of unforced errors and his serve is just a little wild - must be nerves I guess.

He's hanging tough. He is giving us all heart attacks the past three matchs in the first set, Rose!
6-5...
I'm over in SweTennis' Live Scoring thread. Bring all 5 of your cats there.

Re: soderling
I reckon I would have been more happy with a victory but against the top10 its a tough job, but we can say he almost reached the final.
Now he must take a rest, forget this Del Potro match and keep the good job.
Maybe some good reception in Sweden with some comemorations and special events will keep him more happy.

Re: soderling
Good luck next time Robin. I'm sure he'll beat Del Mugro's retrieving next time.

Compared to Del Pony, he sure did. For Del Pony, talk about not having a net game.
Robin was 11/18 for Net Points Won, Delpo was 0/0.

Re: soderling
I know that he approached more than Del Mugro. I just think that Robin should have been more aggressive because Del Mugro's movement isn't that great and more netplay would have been a good tactic.

Re: soderling
I would love to see Söderling become less humble and more greedy and try to snatch another Grand Slam final next year.
If he trains very hard and put the maximum effort nect year I am sure he can make 2010 even etter than 2009.
Then again he wll need support from Jenni, his family( which I always believe he has) and always the friedship with Magnus (I believe Magnus got some motivation this year to keep traveling in tour next year).
Maybe some marriage to be planned next year could give some more motivation to search his wayy all down to top 5 ranking.
GL SODA.

Re: soderling
I been away for a few days and now that I come back I see that Söderling has his own forum . It almost take away some of the disappointment from his loss.
