the 1991 are all on the ATP-Tour..that is the thing of this..mostly the "olders" only play Aussie Open, maybe French Open and then go pro...it is better for them.

Last week futures wins for Kontinen and Pospisil (90).

Futures final for Guilherme Clezar (Brasil, born 31st of december 92) ... who beat Tiago Fernandes (Brasil, born january 1993) in semifinal.

Andrey Kuznetsov (1991) won his first match on the ATP world tour against Marcel Granollers in St Petersburg.

Futures finals for Saavedra-Corvalan and Van den Bulcke (90)

Here's an update on the 2nd of november of the top-10s for the number of points since the beginning of the year (best 18) (note that I count the results of the futures at once).

here we are talking of the ATP rankings, not of the junior rankings :

if there should be an effect about the fact that the 1992 generation plays more often the junuior tournaments than the 1991 generation, it should be in the advantage of generation 1991 comparing to generation 1992 in this peculiar thread.

Actually there's no doubt that generation 1992 looks more promising than the previous generations so far.

Thanks for pointing that out - added as well as Robert Rumler. Those two are the ones that got their first ATP point during last three weeks.

You can add Jack Sock (USA, born 9/24/92) to the list. He just won his first Futures title, which will elevate him to around #730 in the world once the points are added.

- challenger semifinals for Saavedra-Corvalan (1990) in Lima (beating Gaudio and Alund) and Berankis (1990) in Champaign (qualifying and beating Anderson)

- challenger quarterfinals in Yokohama for Yang Tsung-Hua (1991, beating Huta Galung) and Ignatik (1990, beating Tatsuma Ito)

- futures wins for Jack Sock (1992), and Bagnis (1990), Cho Soong Jae (1990) and Arevalo (1990, second one in two consecutive weeks)
