Lucho lost to Gaudio 6-3 6-4. He was up 3-1 in the 1st set and the lack of matches cost him here, plus Gaudio is match tough and a better all round player.
Hope he goes to Asuncion and plays qualies, though he might get a WC.

Lucho will retire after the Lima challenger, he has a loving family and has done a lot of Davis Cup work for Peru.
He had some great moments and some crazy ones as well.
