He also said in Bastad, this year, at the on court interview after loosing to Almagro that he'd love to come back next year and play the seniors. And this week during KC he said he'll play exhos and seniors «if nothing else just to keep my butt in shape» (forgot the exact words), so he's talked about it plenty

I left Wimbledon depressed. I hope in his last match he doesn't just storm off quickly with a little wave. I would rather him embrace the crowd Agassi style for a change

If I remember correctly, he said in an interview (when asked about ceremonies) that there would be something done at Bercy, and that this was the only place he wanted/expected anything, so I dont think it will be a slight wave of hand to say goodbye. I could be wrong, but I think I remember this...

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...
He will have a 'special ceremony' to celebrate his career , to quote the co-director of the tournament
Oh and i don't know if you're aware of that but Marat will make the draw !

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...
I wish Marat could make the draw, but it probably wouldn't help anyway.
Bercy is going to be so sad.

Hopefully, it won't be as "special" as the time Nalby got Moulin Rouge girls giving him his trophee.

LMAO. Gawd, don't mention the bunnies BEFORE the tournie starts. It'll distract him from his tactics ... I expect him to give this his all. It's his last professional appearance ... awwww. Sniff. I'll buy him endless blondes (with furry slippers, if that's his preference ... still don't get it ...) after a good showing, and some lovely net play. (He was doing rather well in his execution of some volleying in St Petersburg, I WAS impressed. There was a particularly exquisite backhand volley ...).
MY fairy godmother, Aunty Denise, is going to Bercy. I have asked for photos of her with my Big Pixie. That will make me VERY, VERY happy.
Make sure it happens, Big Yin. Treat her well. She deserves it ...

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...
I wish I was at Bercy but I'd rather not embarrass myself, I'm a grown boy now, wouldn't want to be seen bauling my eyes out in the stands shouting his name.

You'll do it in the privacy of your own home, in front of TV, like a grown boy

That's what i'm scared of but i'll try to be strong and just let a tear out and keep the rest for the moment i'll put one foot in my appartment
I just got my tickets I'll be there on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday both Day & Night session and Wednesday Night & Friday for the day ! I'm gonna be sick of tennis by the end of the week but with the off season coming i'll have time to love it again in time for January
By the way do you guys think there's a chance that he'll play doubles too ? I hope so , there's two other courts with 1200 seats only so since my tickets are not close from the court on CC i wouldn't mind seeing him play there !

He won't "do" it finally because he won't be there on time so Santoro will replace him.
During this "special ceremony" they'll give him a trophy representing the keys of Bercy.
(I found the info on the Bercy's website)
