Ive red the thread until the beginning, and I saw that some people stated that Marat was/is one of Roger's best buddies on tour. Is that true ? Were/are they off court buddies too? I did not know that these two were real buddies.

^^ Well, they've both often said they have lots of respect for each other. And that after spending so many years together on the tour, and being one of the "oldies" now, they relate to each other a lot. And I remember reading one of their interviews, not sure whether it was Roger's or Marat's in which it was said that while they don't hang out together off court much or go for a drink, they still consider each other good friends. And Roger has said that he'll miss Marat once he retires, and that it would be nice to go over to Marat's place and catch up.

Oh. Thanks for explaining. I really had no clue about that. I thought they were just, you know, 2 players with a lot of respect for each other. I really did't know they considered themselves as great buddies. But then again he's pretty much friend with all the players so ... Roger is a nice guy
